When we think of wars, our minds tend to jump to the big, famous ones: World War I, World War II, the American Civil War, etc. These wars have had a massive impact on the world and have been thoroughly studied and documented, making them impossible to forget. However, there are countless other wars that have been fought throughout history that are not so well known. Some of these conflicts have had far-reaching consequences and have drastically shaped the world we live in today, yet they have been overlooked and forgotten by history.

Korean War (1950–1953)

The Korean War is a conflict that is often forgotten or overlooked, despite its significance in shaping the world we live in today. This war, which took place from 1950 to 1953, was fought between North Korea, backed by the Soviet Union and China, and South Korea, backed by the United States and other Western nations. The conflict was fueled by the growing tensions between the communist and capitalist powers following World War II.
